Founded in 2004, the Universal Center for Development (UCD) is a District of Columbia non-profit corporation, established for the metropolitan area adults ages 16 and over.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive program that integrates academic and vocational training for young adults with disabilities, the socially and economically disadvantaged, returning wounded veterans, and those re-entering the community from incarceration, that will assist them in acquiring marketable skills necessary for survival in a technological society.
